Just side project ideas I would pursue if I had more time. Please email me if you want to pursue it!
A parody of T.S Elliots "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" but it's about probability distributions.
Grim, but I would do to do a data exploration of the Japanese atrocity: Comfort Women. Maybe show where the women come from (Not all comfort women were Korean). I want it to show the absolute horror of it- make it undeniable.
Github repo of operas people can watch for free on YouTube. Probably would curate it because people should not watch Netrebko!
A data-visualization for rap or my favorite rap album. I was thinking maybe taking Doechii's album and showing previous influences/samples? I can't do this myself- need to find someone who knows a lot more.
An exploration of the Girl Boss Musical - Evita, Elisabeth, Here Lies Love, and Diana. Why are women of autocratic systems the stars of musicals?
An opera aria parodying Rossini but it's about Sex and the City- a vocal quartet with male choir (representing all the eligible single men of New York City) in the background. Charlotte, Samantha, Miranda, and Carrie both have their own unique melodic lines. Carrie would definitely have the pitter-patter.
A visual way to distinguish prima pratitica and seconda prattica
A series of animations for all theoretical ecology models. I completed the Lotka-Volterra competition model as well as the predator-prey. But goddamn it, dynamical systems should be shown in motion!
An animation of different ecology models with Hadyn's The Creation playing in the background. A joke about how the "creation of life" is based on different iterations of getting the models of coexistence to work to ensure the rich diversity of Earth.
The visual representation of how to create a Rossini crescendo at the end of his opera acts. A recipe-book basically. Male chorus. A mezzo. A tenor. Two baritones. Et cetera.
